My name is Cathy. I work in higher education technology during the day, and blog at night after my son goes to sleep. I am the youngest of 8 children from a big loud Irish Catholic family. I, too, tend to be quite loud, but am not the loudest, no matter what anyone says. I sing really well, too.
My husband and I have a 6-year old son and a 4-year old daughter. My husband is in a PhD Neuroscience program and I work to keep things together. The photo from the Bergen Record taken in 1966. I am in my Sacred Heart School uniform pretending to watch my sister Mary bake Irish Soda Bread. It was in the recipe section of the paper that weekend. I was smiling because there were only two caraway seeds in the bowl, and my father was riffing on it to make us laugh.
